Module 7

In the video Architecture: Design of Science some of the key concepts included the use of concrete in modern day society. She also spoke on the importance of wind tunnel and foundation testing. She discussed the importance of concrete as a building material. For Last Call for Planet Earth we learned about the use and benefits of solar panels. Geothermal technologies and smart technology.

Both videos relate to the text because they give us a deeper understanding in to the content the book only touches on. While speaking on terms and techniques the the book helps us to have a greater understanding.

I liked both films, films allow us to explore certain materials deeper and understand easier. I think that Last Call for Planet Earth was interesting because I've also been curious about the use of alternative energies.

I chose the films I did half randomly and also because the names caught interest with me. I've always been interested in architecture and design and found the people that create skyscrapers amazing.
