Some of the concepts I've learned from the video included, Through the eyes of a sculptor: "A sculpture comes alive in clay, dies in plaster and is reborn in marble.” In this video we learn the creative process behind a sculpture. We learn the distinction between craft mans and Artists. Glass and ceramics; This video explains the process behind ceramics and glass art. We learn about the abundance of glass in our environment. ceramics are in just as much of abundance and are commonly known as dishes and bricks. These videos reinforced what was already touched on in the book providing an in depth look at ceramics, glass an sculpturing as well as techniques and methods. I enjoyed the films because they provided more of a visual understanding of the text making it more three dimensional and easier to understand.
